Google has locked in August 12 as the date for its next Made by Google event, and fresh leaks are now filling in details the company hasn’t confirmed. The event, set for New York City, will introduce the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. New reports point to larger base storage, a price increase on the higher-end models, and a new green finish for the foldable. Anyone shopping for a Pixel this year should take note, since these changes affect both cost and color choice.
Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold Leaks In New Pine Color
A fresh render shared by leaker Mystic Leaks gives the clearest look yet at the Pixel 11 Pro Fold in a shade called Pine, a light green paired with a gold-toned frame. Earlier leaks had only shown the foldable in black, so this is the first confirmation of a second launch color. The design closely mirrors last year’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold, but the rear camera bar has been reshaped.
Google Pixel 11 Camera Bar Redesign
The camera cutouts now stretch to the edge of the bar with no extra metal trim, and the autofocus sensor has moved to sit beside the main and ultrawide lenses. The flash in the top corner is noticeably larger than before, roughly the size of a lens itself. Some leakers believe this bigger flash housing could be linked to Pixel Glow, a rumored ambient light feature expected to arrive with the new lineup.

Storage Jumps To 256GB Across The Lineup
Every phone in the lineup is expected to drop the old 128GB base tier entirely. According to a report from the French retail tracker Dealabs, the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold will all start with 256GB of storage. That mirrors a move Samsung already made with the Galaxy S26 series earlier this year, when it quietly phased out its cheapest storage tier.
How This Affects The Starting Price
Because the entry-level storage option is being removed, the effective starting price rises even where the sticker price looks unchanged. Comparing like-for-like 256GB models, the company appears to be holding the line on the standard Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro. The Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold are not so lucky, with leaks suggesting a roughly €100 increase across all storage tiers compared to their Pixel 10 counterparts.
Google Pixel 11 Pricing Compared To Last Year
Leaked European pricing suggests the base Pixel 11 will start at around €999 for 256GB, matching what the 256GB Pixel 10 previously cost. The Pixel 11 Pro is expected to open at near €1,199, also in line with last year’s 256GB pricing. UK leaks tell a similar story, with early figures suggesting the Pixel 11 at 256GB could land close to £879, a touch below the outgoing Pixel 10’s price for the same storage.
The picture changes further up the lineup. The Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold are both tipped to cost about €100 more at every storage level than their predecessors, with a comparable jump reported in British pricing. None of these figures are confirmed, and no official U.S. pricing has leaked yet, so American buyers will need to wait for the August 12 announcement for exact numbers.

Pixel 11 Color Lineup
Alongside the pricing and storage details, leaks have also outlined the expected color range for the standard models:
- Pixel 11: Light Sterling, Midnight Haze, Fuchsia, and Moss
- Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL: Light Fog, Midnight Haze, Dune, and Pine
- Pixel 11 Pro Fold: Pine, alongside the previously leaked black finish
- Additional shades may still surface closer to launch, since no official palette has been published
Why The Google Pixel 11 Price Increase Matters
A higher starting price is easier to accept when it comes with a clear new feature, as Samsung did with the Galaxy S26’s privacy screen. The most talked-about addition so far, Pixel Glow, is a subtler ambient notification light rather than a headline hardware upgrade. That makes the case for paying a little more a little harder to make until Google details what buyers actually get for the extra cost. History also works in shoppers’ favor here. Google routinely discounts Pixel phones within weeks of release, often because the hardware itself isn’t the company’s main source of revenue.
The phones largely serve as a distribution channel for Gemini and other subscription services, giving the company more room to cut prices than rivals that depend on each handset sale for profit. Pre-orders are expected to open on August 12 alongside the announcement, with wide retail availability following on August 20, exactly one year after the Pixel 10 went on sale. Buyers weighing whether to order immediately or wait for a discount should watch for official U.S. pricing details when the Google Pixel 11 lineup debuts next month.
