Nothing Phone 4b has officially launched in India, introducing a new budget-friendly series that sits below the company’s existing A-series lineup. The company unveiled the device on July 7, 2026, at a livestreamed event, marking Nothing’s first attempt at building a true entry point into its ecosystem. The launch matters because it fills a pricing gap left after Nothing raised the cost of its Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro models, giving budget shoppers a fresh option with the brand’s signature transparent design.
Priced at Rs 34,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, the Nothing Phone 4b targets buyers who want distinctive styling without paying flagship prices. A higher configuration with 256GB storage is available for a few thousand rupees more. Anyone shopping in the Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 range now has a new contender to weigh against established rivals from OnePlus and Xiaomi.

What Powers the Nothing Phone 4b
The Nothing Phone 4b runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, a chipset built for smooth everyday performance rather than heavy gaming or intensive multitasking. This is a meaningful shift, since Nothing has traditionally leaned on other chipmakers for its budget devices. Paired with 8GB of RAM as standard, the phone should comfortably handle browsing, streaming, and casual app use.
Battery life is a genuine highlight. The Indian variant packs a 6,000mAh cell, larger than the 5,200mAh unit sold globally, making it the biggest battery Nothing has fitted into any of its phones so far. Wired charging tops out at 33W, which the company says can take the battery from empty to half charged in about 27 minutes and to full in roughly 80 minutes.
Nothing Phone 4b Design and Display
The Nothing Phone 4b borrows its unibody shell from the pricier Phone 4a Pro while carrying over the Glyph Bar lighting system first seen on the Phone 4a. That lighting strip now sits inside a clear camera module, giving buyers a peek at the internal mechanics that Nothing is known for showcasing. The Glyph Bar itself has been upgraded to a grid of 45 mini-LEDs spread across five squares, delivering brighter output with reduced light leakage.
Up front, the device uses a 6.77-inch Super AMOLED screen with full-HD+ resolution, a pixel density of 381 PPI, and a refresh rate that scales up to 120Hz for smoother scrolling. Peak brightness reaches 2,000 nits, which should help visibility under direct sunlight. Nothing also claims the polycarbonate body is significantly more bend-resistant than earlier budget models, and it is backed by an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Camera and Software On The Nothing Phone 4b

On the imaging side, the Nothing Phone 4b uses a 50-megapixel Samsung main sensor with optical and electronic stabilisation, alongside an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens offering a 119.5-degree field of view. A 16-megapixel Samsung sensor handles selfies. Processing runs through Nothing’s TrueLens Engine 4, and the phone supports Ultra XDR photo capture, co-developed with Google, as well as 4K video recording at 30 fps.
Software is where Nothing continues to differentiate itself from cheaper competitors. The Phone 4b ships with Nothing OS 4.1, built on Android 16, and comes with a promise of three years of major OS updates and six years of security patches. That update commitment is longer than what most phones in this price bracket typically receive.

Price and Availability Of The Nothing Phone 4b
The Nothing Phone 4b will be available in Black, White, and Blue colour options starting July 14, 2026, through Flipkart and offline partners including Croma, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales. Buyers who take advantage of bank discounts and exchange offers could see the effective price drop closer to Rs 29,999 for the base variant, according to Nothing’s launch-day offers.
Nothing Phone 4b RCB Edition Availability
Alongside the standard colours, Nothing revealed a limited Phone 4b RCB Edition, created as part of its ongoing collaboration with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru cricket team. This variant was sold exclusively through a first-come, first-served drop at Nothing’s store in Bengaluru’s Indiranagar area on launch day, with no confirmed online restock announced so far. Collectors outside the city may need to watch for future availability updates from Nothing.
The Nothing Phone 4b enters a market segment already crowded with the OnePlus Nord CE series and Redmi’s Note Pro lineup, both of which compete heavily on specifications and price. What sets this device apart is less about raw power and more about design language, software longevity, and the Glyph Bar experience that Nothing built its brand around. For shoppers comparing options this month, the phone’s July 14 sale date on Flipkart marks the first real chance to check stock and pricing in person.
